Mahen Muttiah , a part of the globally recognized lecturer panel at Mercury University of London Degree Programme

He started his career as a stock broker and later moved into human resources. After a brief period in HR, he moved into a research career with the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka as an Economic Assistant and then to AC Nielsen where he went through training in all the aspects of market research both in Sri Lanka and India .He also posses working experience in India, Sri Lanka and Maldives. His own company Business Insights and Solutions (BIS) is now offering services to several leading local and multinatio­nal companies. Mahen has been involved in both qualitativ­e and quantitati­ve research with various Sri Lankan and Indian brands. His research exposure covers a wide range of industries including Finance, Banking, Insurance, Food & Beverages, Telecommun­ication, Hotels and Restaurant­s, Supermarke­ts, Advertisin­g, Personal Care, Household Care Products, Shipping Industry, Hospitals, Automobile­s, Hardware Products and B2B markets. Mahen is also a corporate trainer and have conducted programmes for leading companies in Sri Lanka. He has over 5 years of teaching experience in marketing and related subjects.
