RRThas announced that his next album will take him back to the swing era. The 13 track album will contain five new songs while the rest will be cover versions. The new album called ‘Swings Both Ways’ is schedule for release on 18h November. The album title cut will be a duet will be with Rufus Wainwright while ‘Dream A Little Dream’ will be with Lily Allen, ‘I Wanna Be Like You’ with Olly Murs and ‘Little Green Apples’ with Kelly Clarkson. Williams will be teaming up with his old writer collaborat­or Guy Chambers on six new tracks. obin Thicke is seriously thinking of making a sequel to his huge hit ‘Blurred Lines’ with Pharrell Williams and TI. Meanwhile it has been reported that the students union of Edinburgh University have banned the song ‘Blurred Lines’ as it does not comply with its “End Rape & Lad Banter On Campus” policy. In another developmen­t, the students union at the University of Leeds have also banned the song as it “undermines and degrades women”. ‘Blurred Lines’ is being criticized in certain circles for its alleged promotion of non consensual sex. Thicke has dismissed the critics. he group Mumford & Sons have decided to take a hiatus. The multi award winning British folk rock band will take a long break once their current tour obligation­s are complete according to reports.

TSThe UK singles chart welcomed ‘Dirty Talk’ at the pole position as the song sold 160,000 copies to end the two week reign of Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’. Derulo’s hit features rapper 2 Chainz. Previously, Derulo has never featured an artist on any of his singles. ‘Dirty Talk’ is an r&b / hip hop track co-written by the 24 year old US artist with eight others while production side is taken care by Ricky Reed. The song is the second release from Derulo’s just released album ‘ Tattoos’ which also featured his previous top 10 hit ‘ The Other Side’. he second highest song to debut on the UK singles chart is Jessie ‘Its My Party’. The single checked in at No: 3 for the 25 year old singer. The pop track with Jessie usual high pitched vocals is produced by the famous Max Martin and Shellback. It is also Jessie’s eight UK top 10 hit. The follows up on ‘ Wild’ which peaked two months ago at No: 5. Both songs are featured on her just released album ‘Live’. wedish producer and newest single ‘ You Make Me’ debuted on the UK chart at No: 5. The song is features the vocals of Salem Al Fakir – a Swedish musician of Syrian origin. Avicii’s last single ‘Wake Me Up’ was a whopper as it topped the chart instantly unlike ‘ You Make Me’ which falls short by many yards. Both songs though are taken from Avicii’s album ‘True’.
