Sri Lanka's iconic cricketer, Kumar Sangakkara and his wife, Yehali, joined hands with Keells Super, the leader in supermarketing excellence, to spread Keells Supers' message of offering a total ' Super Happy' shopping experience. The Super Happy theme encompasses the key attributes of Keells Super, which are Super Savings, Super Quality and Freshness, Super Value for money and overall Super Service.

The partnership with Sangakkara to be their brand ambassador is a perfect brand fit as Sanga already mirrors several of the key values that Keells Super stands for. He is known to be a person who doesn't compromise on quality and is fresh and dynamic in his approach as a cricketer. The synergies created by the partnership between these two vibrant brands are expected to lead to an unparalleled level of shopping excellence in Sri Lanka.

Speaking about the partnership, Keells Super's new brand ambassador Kumar Sangakkara said, "We could not be happier to partner with Keells Super, to spearhead their Super Happy campaign. As regular shoppers at Keells Super, my wife and I constantly experience the feeling of being Super Happy at the freshness of their goods , courteous and efficient service, value for money, the commitment to offering shoppers the best possible experience and the super savings offered by using the Keells Super loyalty card Nexus. We are very proud to take this message to the public."

Mr. Krishan Balendra, President Retail, John Keells Holdings PLC stated, "Kumar and Yehali were the obvious choice for us as the personalities to drive our Super Happy message to the public. Not only is Kumar one of the most acclaimed and respected global celebrities that Sri Lanka has ever produced, but the values and beliefs he stands for is something that every Sri Lankan, including the Sri Lankan brands, should try to emulate. We discovered so many similar traits between the brand Keells Super and the brand Sanga that we felt there would be no better personality than him to spread our message. We are honoured and proud to have Kumar and Yehali on board."

Furthermore, Keells Super customers are in for 'Super Savings' during the month of October, as an unbeatable variety of special offers on all food varieties will be available for Keells Super shoppers. As part of the promotion, Keells Super's Nexus Loyalty Card customers will receive 25% off on key groceries and weekly special savings on fresh vegetables, fruits, seafood, meat and bakery items.
