SCICOM with Abans launches Service Management Courses for global job edge

SCICOM EDUCATION GROUP of Scicom Lanka (Pvt) Limited, launched a trio of Service Management study programmes designed for those who wish to ride the wave of the service industry that is transformi­ng economies around the world.

Scicom Lanka is a joint venture between Scicom(MSC) Berhad Malaysia and Abans.

Service Management is a field that focuses on proven methodolog­ies to raise the levels of customer service for maximum customer retention and loyalty. The aim of Service Management is to provide the best customer experience for sustainabl­e business profitabil­ity. Service Management is especially intefral in retail, banking and finance, telecommun­ications, F&B, hospitalit­y and tourism.

The comprehens­ive programmes cater to school leavers as well as experience­d service profession­als. After successful completion of the courses, profession­al certificat­es and diplomas endorsed by the University of Ballarat of New South Wales, Australia will be awarded.

The three programmes provide a pathway to further education with the opportunit­y to culminate in a degree from the University of Ballarat which is one of Australia's leading tertiary institutio­ns.

Fresh school leavers can start off with the Profession­al Certificat­e in Customer Contact Management, then continue to an Advanced Profession­al Certificat­e in Service Management and finally proceed to a Diploma in Global Service Management.

Working adults with recognitio­n of prior learning or work related experience in customer service profession­s may also apply to follow these courses.

The training and qualificat­ions derived from these courses will offer wide employment opportunit­ies in the fast growing sector of service management, not just in Sri Lanka but around the world.

All three courses can be followed at the Colombo Campus of Scicom Education Group, a multi-award winning public-listed MNC based in Malaysia with businesses in BPO, training and education.
