CA Sri Lanka Student Wins Best Paper Presenter Award at International Student Conference in India

A student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) recently won the Best Paper Presenter Award at the International CA Students Conference organized by the Board of Studies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Ms. BuddhiPathiraja, a final year student of CA Sri Lanka, was part of a 12 member delegation from Sri Lanka. She presented her paper during the conference’s first technical sessions.

The conference held in Kolkata, India revolved around the theme ‘Accounting Professional – Ace, Astute & Adaptable’.

Ms. Pathiraja currently functions as an executive of the Corporate Finance and Advisory Services of BDO Consulting (Pvt) Ltd.

Her accolades include winning the World Top Paper Prize for Corporate Finance at the Final Level exams conducted by ABE (UK).
