Visit to Mannar and Madhu

-

A well planned " trek" to Mannar, Madawachchiya and Madhu church during the long week- end of October starting 16th and returning to Colombo on 19th. Will be the next venture that will be undertaken by Ranfer Travels.

The site visits are Dedigama Kota Vehera ( birth place of Parakramabahu the Great), Kandy Temple, City Center, Mannar , Thalaimannar . Optional visit to Adam's Bridge ( sand bar link between Sri Lanka & India), famous Madu Church, Boo Oya Eco Park & Airport Highway (if opened by 19th October).

The overnight stays are at the panoramic Albatros Boutique Villa , Digana , Hotel Ahas or Palmyrah House and Boo Oya Eco Resort.

With North, East & North West becoming more & more popular with the Sri Lankan domestic travelers, it is timely that Ranfer Travels have introduced visits to Mannar which was a " no- go" zone for more than 20 years. It is also important that the visitors could proceed to Thalaimannar and use facility provided by the Sri Lanka Navy to visit the Adam's Bridge. EXPLORE PHILIPPINES Ranfer Travels will also venture- out on a tour of Philippines starting from 26th October covering Manila, Baguio, Angels city (night life), Cebu, Mactan , Bohol and Tagatay. The highlights of the tour will be Zamboanga dinner in Manila, Intermuros , Walled City, Rizal Park , Mall of Asia ( MOA), Cebu sights including Waterfront Casino, Mactan Island , Lobok river lunch cruise, Chocolate Hills & Tagatay Volcano among others.

The tour of Philippines will certainly be a hit with the Sri Lankans since, among other exiting prospects, the shopping is fabulous at MOA, the biggest shopping mall in Asia.
