Facts about the Act 16 exam and life before and after Act 16 On average, an Overseas Medical Graduate takes 3 years to complete the Act 16 exam. Over 50% of the Medical Graduates will never pass Act 16 exam and give up in the end because the Pass rate is only 15% . If you are lucky enough to pass after 3 years, you will have to wait for another 12 months to get your Internship which could be anywhere in Sri Lanka and working for just Rs.25,000 per month. After one year, you could be posted to a hospital anywhere in Sri Lanka and working for just Rs.30,000 per month. (A mason Baas who works 25 days per month for Rs.1,500 per day earns Rs.37,500 per month ). After 5 years from today, you will be working as a House Officer, anywhere in Sri Lanka and earning less than a Mason Baas’s salary. Is it really worth wasting another 5 years for that ?????? Think about it…….. Do you know that there is a better option ? Better Option We can get you a 65% scholarshi­p to study for a one year Master Degree in the UK ( cost only GBP 6,450 after the scholarshi­p ). While studying for Masters, you are allowed to work part time in Nursing Homes and we will help you to find part time jobs and you can earn up to GBP 1,290 = Rs. 258,000 per month. You are allowed to take your spouse and children with you ( if you are married ), Spouse is allowed to work full time, entire family is entitled to Free Healthcare and Children under 18 years of age are entitled to free education in UK. While studying for Masters, you can also complete the PLAB exam which is a lot easier than the Act 16 exam. Pass rate in PLAB 1 is over 80% and over 95% in PLAB 2. ( Pass rate in Act 16 exam is only 15% ). On completion of the Masters, our UK Office can help you to get a good jobs in UK, Canada, Australia or several other countries for a minimum monthly salary of GBP 3,000 = Rs.600,000.

If you like to do a Phd after completing Masters, we can get you a 75% scholarshi­p to study for the Phd ( Cost only GBP 4,000 after the 75% scholarshi­p ), you will study part time for the Phd and work full time, earning a good salary. On completion of the PhD, our UK Office can help you to get a very good job in UK, Canada Australia or several other countries, earning a minimum monthly salary of GBP 4,000 = Rs.800,000.

Currently there is a shortage of Masters & Phd Graduates in UK, Canada, Australia and many other countries and due to this reason, UK Government has passed a new rule this year which allows all Graduates completing a Phd in the UK to get a full time work permit and a full time job leading to Permanent Residency in the UK.( You can see the details on the UK Government web site ; ( www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk ). There are similar provisions now available in Canada and Australia as well.
