DJ Martin Garrix races to the top of the charts

This week it was the turn of 17 year old Dutch DJ Martin Garrix to zoom to the top of the UK singles chart with the electro house track ‘Animals’. The song had been circulating on the continent since June first on the club scene. Little was known about the actual person behind the ‘Animals’ until recently. The song is a 1990 Waterboys cover version. The song appears on Ellie’s album ‘Halcyon Days and also on the soundtrack of the film About Time. rooning his way to the top 10 is Robbie Williams with ‘Go Gentle’ the debut release from his album ‘Swing Both Ways’. The swing pop track is a likable radio friendly track with a calming effect. ‘’Go Gentle’ is Williams 30th top 10 hit song in the UK.
