AIS Fashion show on December 17

-

The Graduating Class of Asian International School will be hosting their Fashion Show on the 17th of December 2013. The event, titled “The Show Goes On” will be held at the Park Street Mews at 7.30 pm, and is set to attract an audience of nearly 600 people including parents and distinguished alumni as well as attendees from Colombo’s youth.

The show most certainly will go on in style on the 17th, featuring designs from some of Sri Lanka’s most recognized labels and designers, including Buddhi Batiks, Dinesh Chandrasena, Arugam Bay, Steel Blue, JoJo’s and Charini, as well as some pieces from the Raffles Institute of Higher Education. The students will also be showcasing clothes from well known boutiques and clothing stores such as Blush, Eské Cordova and Sheh Online.

This event promises to be more than just another “fashion show”: the graduating class of 2014 of Asian International School is definitely pulling out all the stops for this event, combining the traditional “catwalk” with some of their own diverse talents. The fashion show will feature live performances by some of their current students, including a drum medley and a performance by the band “Mash”, who were the finalists at TNL Onstage earlier this year, and comprises students from the graduating class. The show will also have a segment showcasing the design talents of one of their graduating students, Sidhra Yasheen, who will be putting together a theatrical piece for the finale as part of the Eské Cordova segment. All in all, the event is sure to be an unforgettable night so make sure you don’t miss it!

Tickets for the event will be priced at Rs. 2500, Rs. 1500 and Rs.1000/-, and will be sold at the Park Street Mews and the premises of Asian International School.
