JAYASUNDERA, DIANA ( Formerly Vice Principal of Holy Cross College, Gampaha) - Relict of Hugh Jayasundera ( formerly of Small Industries, Plywood & Cement Corporations), dearly beloved mother of Gehan, Dinali & Devina, loving motherin- law of Clive Dias & Surane Perera, darling Achchi of Chantel, Rochelle, Shenelle & Shehan ( all of Australia), daughter of the late Donald & Edith de Silva of Kandana, sister of the late Professor Kingsley De Silva and of Erin Saparamadu, daughter- in- law of the late Solomon & Beatrice Jayasundera of Dehiwala, sister- in- law of the late Iranee de Silva and of Benedict Saparamadu, of Daisy de Lanerolle, Bernard Jayasundera, Gerard Jayasundera, Dr Joe Jayasundera & Noel Jayasundera ( all deceased), passed away in Australia. Her mortal remains will be laid to rest, according to her last wish in the family grave at the Borella Cemetery. The funeral will take place on Saturday, 11th January, 2014. The body will lie at A. F. Raymond's Parlour from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on that day. Cortege will leave Raymond's at 3 p. m. for burial in the Roman Catholic Section ( entrance through Main Gate) at 3.30 p. m. RANASINGHE ARACHCHIGE SOMASEELI PEIRIS, Staff Nurse ( Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital) - Wife of Bertram Peiris ( Rtd. SLT), mother of Roshani Kanchana, Udani Hettiarachchi, mother- in- law of Nalaka Mendis, granny of Methul, expired on 28th December 2013. Last rites were performed on 29th.
