New long wheelbase Range Rover to hit the streets in early 2014

A new long wheelbase Range Rover will arrive in Sri Lanka in early 2014 extending the customer appeal of its family of luxury SUV vehicles in the island.

The first Range Rover long wheelbase in 20 years, this new model will cater to a growing group of consumers looking for the ultimate SUV, and an alternativ­e to the traditiona­l long wheelbase saloon cars in this segment, SML Frontier Automotive, local agets for Range Rovers said in a press release.

“It represents the pinnacle of desirabili­ty, bringing even higher levels of refinement to the world’s finest luxury SUV. The interior has been carefully crafted and tailored to meet customer needs with subtle but distinctiv­e exterior detailing and is appointed and finished with the highest quality leathers and materials”, said Managing Director, SML Frontier Automotive, Sheran Fernando. Both derivative­s exude Land Rover’s renowned breadth of capability and performanc­e with first customer deliveries from March 2014 , Mr. Fernando revealed.
