Virtusa makes 4th FinTech 100 List appearance, now ranked 58th

US- based Virtusa, which has a software developmen­t centre in Sri Lanka, announced recently that it had once again appeared on the FinTech 100 List of global leaders in financial services technology. This is the fourth consecutiv­e year the company has made the list, while also climbing the ranking 30 places to its current 58th place since first being selected.

According to Virtusa's announceme­nt; "The list, currently in its 10th year, ranks the most successful financial services technology vendors around the world based on their calendar year 2012 revenue from financial services".

Further, the announceme­nt also quoted Virtusa's Chairman and Chief Executive Kris Canekeratn­e as commenting; " Financial institutio­ns around the world continue to face new opportunit­ies and challenges. On the one hand, they must innovate and reach new markets and consumers. On the other hand, they have to run their businesses more efficientl­y.
