Should Homeschooling and E-schooling be the future of Education?

-

Targheeb’s Young Momons Online Homeschool (YMOH) was launched in 2010. Since its launch, online education has become our focus and we are working with other homeschoolers, educators and organizations to spread the word and build a community that caters to educational excellence.

“When getting and keeping great teachers is our highest priority, then getting and keeping great standards would become a piece of cake.”

Currently, the YMOH program is designed to provide thorough and appropriate instructions based on research to all, kindergarten through first and sixth grade students with a team of qualified and specialized faculty online.

YMOH provides a platform for children from different nationalities and cultures across the globe with a common goal and vision. Our goal is to ensure that they are ready to succeed in high school and graduate as responsible citizens.

The school offers free education to three levels this academic year (Sept 2013-14). With a total of 25 students and 9 teachers we offer both the core elementary subjects and Islamic Studies, Arabic and Quran Studies catering for children who do not have the financial means to education.

In order to expand our operation, we intend to start up a classroom in Sri Lanka for a group of 10 students next academic year. With the success of this initiate and demand for regular school going children to avail our courses, particularly, the specializations of Arabic, Islamic Studies, we have launched the fee based courses for parents who wish to avail of selected courses online.

Our very own Pre Kindergarten curriculum and workbook is also expected to be released next academic year.

YMOH online classes are live and interactive classes with maximum ten students in a group with a qualified teacher coaching children to reach the academic levels required.

Therefore should homeschooling and e- schooling be the future of education, then, Targheeb becomes the trend setter of yet another milestone in e- education. (I am not sure of the closing lines).

Targheeb is an Educational Consultancy Service (PVT) LTD organization registered in Sri Lanka.
