EDEX Expo 2014 returns with EDEX Job Fair for total solutions

Sri Lanka’s largest education exhibition EDEX Expo will enter its second decade next week, offering a wide range of services for local students.

The 11th edition is to be held at the BMICH, Colombo, from January 17 to 19, 2014 and at Kandy City Centre (KCC), Kandy on January 24 and 25, 2014. This year, the Colombo exhibition will showcase nearly 300 stalls with over 250 local and foreign universities from over 20 countries directly present or through their local agents, enabling youth and their parents to make informed decisions.

EDEX Expo provides a common platform for reputed educational service providers to offer their academic, vocational and professional courses, programmes and services to a vast segment of discerning youth and their parents.

An unprecedented array of choices, options and opportunities will be on offer for every youth, including those just after GCE O/L and A/L exams, undergraduates and graduates, as well as unemployed and under employed.

EDEX Expo’s newest value addition, EDEX Job Fair, endorsed and supported by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) will feature scores of leading and most sought after employer organisations showcasing their available opportunities, required qualifications, personal traits and skills, with a promised ‘complete walk through to one’s dream job’

The Job Fair will be a platform for organisations to recruit suitable personnel, those qualified to gain access to dream jobs and youth to plan well for future careers by getting to know when and how to become industry ready, by meeting, discussing and interacting with potential employers.
