Business Academy the largest CIMA business school in Sri Lanka has taken a very informed decision to launch our own Fast Track programme along with the regular programme.

We are not the first institute to launch a Fast Track programme. Through research and analysis of the available programmes in Sri Lanka, Wisdom Business Academy has compiled an extremely student centric programme with many more benefits for the students than those offered by other institutes. At Wisdom the students are on a genuine fast track towards the completion of all CIMA exams within 1 ½ years along with a reputed business degree.

For those students who wish to follow the regular programme they can complete the CIMA examinations in 2 ½ years.

The unique features of the Fast Track programme include:

Start CIMA Certificate programme in January 2014 and complete CIMA Examination in May 2015.

Complete the Degree from Robert Gordon University along with CIMA within the same time period.

A comprehensive time table of at least 100 hours per subject during the CIMA programme. ( For all levels) This would enable our world class lecture panel to deliver lectures of the highest quality without rushing through the syllabus and the students would obtain the necessary knowledge and skill sets required for each subject.

No Mixing of “Part time” and “Full time” programmes. We are offering the Fast Track programme as a full time programme with two and a half days of lectures per week.

The world class panel to deliver the programme. 300 Full Scholarships for students who have Received 3 As for local A/ Ls or 9 As for local O/ Ls. This will be offered after an interview process structured by Wisdom. The Scholarships are mainly for the Wisdom Business Academy Colombo branch. However scholarships will also be offered at our branches in Matara and Jaffna as well. A structured internship programme to give the students work experience with the leading employers in Sri Lanka. The basic structure of the programme will be Our Promise in more detail and the exact modality of the programme

The Certificate Level Fast Track study programme would be from Jan 2014 – April 2014 and the student would take up the examinations in May 2014

Having completed the Certificate level the student would commence Operational and Management Level courses in June 2014 as follows

Operational Level on a full time basis with 2 ½ days of lectures per week

Management Level on a part time basis with lectures over the week end

The student would take up the Operational and Management Level examinations in November 2014

Now the final level students would commence the Strategic Level studies for CIMA examina- tions in December 2014 and sit the examination in May 2015 and with the new CIMA syllabus coming into operation from Jan 2015 there is no need to wait a further 6 months to do the T4 case study ( TOPCIMA) but complete the integrated case study which is built into the strategic level from May 2015.

The certificate level Regular Programme

This programme is for the students who wish to take six months of teaching to complete certificate level unlike the fast track programme. The students who join the January intake for the certificate level will have extra four months to complete the exams so that they can join the operational level ( next level) in November 2014.

As an institute Wisdom Business Academy would conduct a minimum of 2 mock examinations for every subject in the CIMA curriculum which has enabled the institute to maintain the high past rates over a decade producing 103 Sri Lankan prize winners and 9 world prize winners including the youngest World prize winner who is just 16 years of age.

So as parents you are assured of a very consistent and comprehensive coverage of all subjects of CIMA without which a fast track programme will not be successful as we have repeatedly seen many a failure in the recent past through various haphazard programmes which are on offer.

Simultaneously the student would commence his undergraduate studies in June 2014 with a target completion date on June 2015.

Considering the costs involved and affordability to parents and students Wisdom Business Academy has negotiated with all leading financial institutes in Sri Lanka to provide educational loans to our students on very attractive terms and conditions. These schemes are structured in such away where the parent / guardian would service the loan for the first 2 years and the students can very comfortfortably take up the remaining period od once they are settled down in employment after the successful completion of their CIMA exams ( and the degree programme)
