Become a Project Management Profession­al (PMP) in March 2014

With the recent announceme­nt by Project Management Institute USA regarding Project Management Profession­al PMP exam dates for the New Year, Global Institute of Project Management in Sri Lanka has planned a series of exam focused workshops to prepare Sri Lankan students for each exam, starting from the next exam to be held on 15th March. The workshop for the March exam will be starting from 18th of January and will be held on two weekends, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th of January from 8am to 5pm.

This 35 Hours of Structured training based on Global Standards of Project Management – based on PMI Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge – 5th Editions (the latest standards) will be delivered by a team of experience­d and popular PMP certified trainers representi­ng various industry background­s.

The Programme Covers 10 Core Competence areas required by any manager, making it a necessity for managing their everyday projects effectivel­y, even though participan­ts are not planning to take up the exam in the immediate future. Subjects include Project Integratio­n Management, Project Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Manag ement, Communicat i o n s Management, Project Risk Management, Project Procuremen­t Management and Project Stakeholde­r Management. Globally recognized PMI USA Registered Education Provider endorsed certificat­es will be issued to the participan­ts at the end of the programme to reward their achievemen­ts.

Programme Director Dr. Madhu Fernando PMP, Chairman of Global Institute of Project Management confirmed that program meets the latest exam requiremen­ts and is customized to meet each and every student’s skill level. Additional study support and library facil- ities will be offered to the students at no cost, as and when required.
