Scholarship Programmes in UK, Canada and Australia for Masters and PhD

SCHOLARSHIPS UP TO 75% FOR PhD AND MASTERS

During the recession between years 2008 and 2012, the Governments of UK, Canada and Australia cut down funds given to scholarships for overseas graduates. As a results of this, now there is a scarcity of PhD holders in UK, Canada and Australia. If you do a PhD in UK, Canada or Australia now, you can easily get a full time job and full time work permit, leading to permanent residency.

Currently Canada and Australia are giving scholarships up to 75% for PhD only. In order to qualify for these scholarships, you must have completed your Bachelors and Masters in that country. If you have that, we can help you to get scholarships for PhD in those two countries.

At University of Wales in the UK, we can help you to get 75% scholarships for PhD and 65% scholarships for Masters. We can get you a 75% scholarship to do PhD in any subject at the University of Wales in the UK.

Entry requirements are ;

1. Master's Degree from a recognized

University in any country, and 2. Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University in any country or an equiva l e n t Professional Q u a l i f i c at i o n such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIM. 3. IELTS Academic

6.5 overall band. Duration of PhD 3 years

First year GBP 4,000 – Rs. 800,000/=

Second Year GBP 1,675 – Rs. 335,000/=

Third year GBP 1,675 – Rs. 335,000/=

( Assuming GBP 1.00 = LKR 200 )

Total amount required in Sri Lanka

University fees ( GBP 4000) payable d i re c t ly to the University = Rs. 800,000

Living expenses to take with you When you go to UK = Rs. 400,000

One way Air ticket to UK payable directly to the Air Line = Rs. 50,000

Visa application fee payable directly to the British High Commission = Rs. 65,000.00

Lawyers fees for doing your Visa payable directly to the Lawyer = Rs. 30,000.00

Total amount required Rs. 1,345,000 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT CHARGE ANY FEES FROM YOU AS WE GET PAID BY THE UNIVERSITY.

There are no classes for Phd as PhD is a research based program. PhD students will have to see the Professor once a week and get guidance from him. You will have enough time to work part time. All Phd students get a work permit to work 20 hours per week during term time and full time during holidays. They can take their family( Spouse and children ) to the UK, Spouse will get a full time work permit, Children are entitled to free edu- cation at Government Schools and the entire family is entitled to free health care in Government Hospitals as well as with GP Practices. On completion of the PhD, all PhD graduates are given one year to find a full time job. With a PhD from UK, you can find a good job in any good country in the world including UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Middle East.
