Successful US Student Visa Presentation (F1) held for all interested in US education by the American Centre with ANC Education

ANC Education as the pioneer tertiary education institute in Sri Lanka coll a b o r at e d w i t h the American CentreColombo, to organize a F1Student Visa Advisory Session on the 27th June 2014. The session was well attended by both aspiring students and parents seeking binding information on American students Visa.

The session covered the most vital information an applicant should be acquainted with in order to gain successful entry to the United States. Students and parents were given insights into the types of institutes to choose, clearing the basic perplexities in University or College applications. Acknowledging the importance of accreditation the speakers also touched on the evaluation criteria for educational institutions in the country.

Most of the procedures and requirements for applying for a student visa are standardized but some procedures vary by condition. Hence a substantial part of the session covered the finances and other student visa requirements and consisted of a Q & A session. All the queries were answered with expertise and further guidance was given where needed. The F1- Student Visa is the most common type of student visa. If you wish to engage in academic studies in the United States at an approved school, such as an accredited U. S. college or university, you should possess an F-1 visa.

For many students interested in undergraduate studies overseas, acquiring a student visa from the relevant country can be confusing and daunting. Thus, the process involves much advanced planning and consideration to the University Application Process. Getting your visa to study in the United States takes time but can be a surprisingly easy procedure, given that the student is directed and assisted accurately. It is well worth the effort.

Hundreds of students accepted by Universites have had their Visas rejected every semester as a result of misguided information and lack of knowledge in the Visa Application Process.

Attendees of the session l e a r ned about their options and about their status as international student, through a brief presentation that was followed by a question and answer session.

The oversubscribed ses- sion was a huge success and benefited many aspirant students with their concerns. Due to popular demand ANC Education will be hosting a repetition of the session cond u c t e d M s. Sheela Krishnan, Consular American Embassy Sri Lanka, at the American Centre on the 15th of July 214.

Prior reservations must be made to ensure participation due to the limited number of seats. Call 0777414415.

These sessions are information sessions which constitute an integral part of services provided to offer information, advice, guidance, etc. for genuine students, and are coordinated by the American Centre Colombo.
