Sagami Travels venture out to new destinatio­ns in 2014/ 2015

Market leaders to Japan for the last 20 years and now fast becoming a household name in the out-bound market, Sagami Travels has shifted its market focus to other destinatio­ns as well.

They will add Myanmar, Vietnam, Nepal and Egypt among others. Domestic tours will also be added with Nuwara Eliya tours by Viceroy 2 and on a pioneering effort Jaffna tours by "rail" with Palei/Jaffna stretch completed by mid October with the efforts of SLR and Indian Railways coming together. After 30 years "Yaarl Devi" train will come alive with hope and peace to the Northern Peninsula and its people. This will also enhance the dialog between the North-South of Sri Lanka.

With the new venture on line, Sagami Travels Chairman/ Managing Director Mr.Gamini Chandrasek­era has invited a veteran travel "Senior" in the industry Mr.Bandula De Silva to join as their new Executive Director, to forge ahead with future plans of Sagami Travels.

Mr.Bandula De Silva who count more than 30 years in the travel trade is an expert in domestic and in-bound tourism as well as leading tours to countries such as Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Egypt, Kenya, England and Nepal to name a few. His amicable dispositio­n and PR has earned more than 2000 highly satisfied client base within the last 15 years. He will act as the "Tour Captain" in the forthcomin­g accompanie­d tours.

Sagami Travels is located in a highly "prestigiou­s business address" in Nugegoda, precisely High Level road, KeellsSupe­r Market complex with ample parking space and easily reached from the bustling Nugegoda "mini city".

For the months of November/December and ensuing months outbound tours, such as Vietnam, Japan, Australia, Egypt&local tours to NuwaraEliy­a,Digana,Ampara, Tissa, Kataragama& Jaffna are on the cards.
