Senuri and Chatura most outstanding TT players
Senuri De Silva of Holy Family Convent Kalutara and Chatura Gunasekera of Sussex College Kandy were awarded the ESOFT Metro Campus Challenge Trophies for being the Most Outstanding Girl’s and Boy’s players at the recently concluded All Island International Schools/Private Schools/Semi Government Schools Table Tennis Championships 2014 organised by the Ping Pong Academy and played at the S. Thomas’ Mt. Lavinia Indoor Stadium Tables.
ESOFT Metro Campus was the proud sponsors of this tournament and offered scholarships worth of Rs. 350,000/- to the winners.
The tournament was organised for the 3rd successive year in Sri Lanka.It should be noted that this is the first time in the history of Sri Lanka that such attractive scholarships were awarded to the winners. Each winner was awarded a scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- by the sponsors and the two Most Outstanding Players were awarded full package sponsorship. The total sponsorship was worth nearly Rs. 350,000/-.
