Further, the leaders of United Motors, YAMU.lk and Cantaloupe & Co are slated to speak at ANC Education to kick off the annual Open day of the institute.

Mr. Chanaka Yatawara, the group CEO and Executive director of United Motors Lanka PLC, is a graduate from Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon, USA. United Motors is one of the oldest automobile companies in Sri Lanka has been in existence for over 66 years. UML, which is quoted on the stock exchange, has been ranked among the top 50 companies in Sri Lanka over the last few years as well as being ranked among the top 100 most respected entities in country. Recently the company was also ranked among the Business Today top 25 companies in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Indi Samarajiva, is an illustriou­s blogger (www.indi.ca) and co-founder of Kottu, a blog aggre- gator. Mr. Samarajiva hails from Montreal Canada and completed his education at the prestigiou­s McGill University. He is also the Director and founder of YAMU, the most popular and growing city guide that reaches around 90,000 visitors a month. Each month, those visitors read about 200,000 pages. Mr. Nadeem Rajabdeen, a Director of Cantaloupe & Co Cantaloupe is an alumnus of University of South Florida - College of Business Administra­tion and ANC Education. Cantaloupe & Co was establishe­d in 2008 and has since become a prominent player in numerous fields via its creations, investment­s and projects, with the foresight of developing it into Sri Lanka’s ultimat e lifestyle brand.

Open days provide the opportunit­y for both students and parents to pose questions pertaining to their areas of interest from counselors and academics. The number of modules on offer per semester, the possibilit­y of completing the degree overseas and meet academics in person. ANC aspires to influence students in a manner in which it would broaden horizons pertaining to their careers
