CIMA 2015: Remaining relevant and rigorous

We live in an increasingly complex and uncertain era for global business. Better business and better skilled professionals have never been more important to achieving sustainable success.

CIMA has worked with leading global organizations to understand what competencies they require to drive better business. The result of this research is a competency framework which shows the skills and competencies finance professionals need to help drive the success of their organization.

CIMA ' s 2015 Professional Qualification syllabus was driven by this framework and is competency based, updated to equip accounting professionals with the competencies businesses need. This ensures that your CIMA qualification remains respected and valued by businesses whilst making the CIMA qualification as relevant as ever.

CIMA is the first global accountancy body to pioneer a combination of computerized assessments to examine the syllabus. Each sub- ject will be assessed not only by an objective test, but also by a case study which combines the knowledge and learning across the three pillars at each level of the syllabus.
