Wesley College Prefects’ Day - Euphoria 2014
The annual Prefects’ day of Wesley College in its 140th anniversary year was held on 6th November 2014 under the theme “Euphoria- a state of happiness and joy”. This was organized by the 87th Prefects’ guild of Wesley College. The Prefects Body was established at Wesley in 1927 and has continued to be a platform for students to take up extracurricular work to develop their leadership skills and work in unity with one another. It is an absolutely astonishing arena for students to bond with others and make a positive Impact for their Alma Mater. The experiences that a prefect gets through the involvement in college activities and events will definitely be the foundation for the development of special skills like leadership and self-confidence.
The purpose of this event was to network and create a sense of unity among the future leaders of our country and nurture all the participants to be engines of prosperity for Sri Lanka and the World at many games, challenges and inspiring speeches which undoubtedly changed the minds of the youngsters. This event would still have been a dream within our minds if not for the blessings of our almighty god. It is with great appreciation that the Prefects Guild thanked all the individuals and companies who financed the event, the brothers and sisters who participated at the event & the entire college administration for their immense support. large.
