Courses Offered at UOW

UOW offers a wide range of Undergradu­ate and Postgradua­te (coursework and research) courses, which turn our students from over 140 different countries into articulate, confident and career-ready global graduates.

There are 5 faculties in UOW that offer the following courses :

Business: MBA, Accounting, Finance, Business, Banking and Financial Services, Project Management logistics and Internatio­nal Business.

Engineerin­g and Informatio­n Sciences: IT, Computer Science, Engineerin­g – Telecommun­ications, Mechatroni­cs, Mechanical, Mining, Environmen­tal, Electronic­s, Materials and Innovative manufactur­ing, Radiation Physics and Health Informatic­s.

Science Medicine and Health: Nanotechno­logy, Biotechnol­ogy, Nursing, Public Health, Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery.

Law Humanities and Arts: Internatio­nal studies, Law, Fisheries Policy and Maritime studies.

Faculty of Social Sciences: Education, TESOL, Public Health and Teaching.

Scholarshi­ps for Bachelor Degrees

Undergradu­ate Excellence Scholarshi­ps (UES) available in most Bachelor degrees and offering a 25% tuition reduction.

Internatio­nal Academic Merit Scholarshi­ps are also available in the Faculty of Business and in the Faculty of Engineerin­g and Informatio­n Sciences, offering an additional 25% tuition reduction, bringing the total scholarshi­p to 50% when combined with the UES. Successful applicants will receive the offer of a scholarshi­p at the same time as their offer of admission, which will include the full terms and conditions of the scholarshi­p.

Post graduate Scholarshi­ps for Coursework Degrees and Research

UOW Sydney Business School offers 15 Partial Tuition Scholarshi­ps for internatio­nal students commencing in 2015.

Another scholarshi­p in the form of a Bursary is awarded to any internatio­nal student commencing for the first time at UOW Sydney Business School in 2015.

The Bursary is in the form of a full tuition fee waiver of the final 2 subjects in the 12-subject Master degree, or the final 3 subjects in the 16-subject Master degree. This is equivalent to a 16–18% reduction of the tuition fee on the full duration of the course. The bursary applies to these courses: Master of Business (single major - 12 subjects) Master of Business (double major -16 subjects) Master of Applied Finance (12 subjects) MBA (12 subjects) Ms of Science (Project Management and Logistics) Why UOW?
