Her passion for journalism started during her school years at Gateway College, where Mandira has held responsibilities as the editor of both the Interact Club and the school magazine.

Speaking about her childhood dream, Mandira commented, “For as far as I remember, books have been my constant companion. I loved reading all sorts of books, specially thrillers and suspense novels. Over the years, my love for reading evolved into writing. Ever since then I have used my writing as a platform to process the world around me, express myself and create awareness on important issues impacting today’s society”.

She further added, “My learning experience at NCHS has broadened my career aspirations and opened me to new possibilities. The diverse and innovative teaching methods used have encouraged me to think independently, voice my opinions and also inspired and challenged my writing. The lectures not only cover theory, but also nurture interpersonal and soft skills.”
