Spa Ceylon wins internatio­nal award

Spa Ceylon recently won an internatio­nal award in the ‘Best Luxury Ayurveda Spa’ category at the prestigiou­s World Luxury Spa Awards for ‘WHITE By Spa Ceylon’, one of the brand’s signature luxury Ayurveda spas.

The spa incorporat­es the use of different organic herbs, refreshing infusions, traditiona­l oils and age-old rituals and techniques. Situated at Ward Place, ‘WHITE By Spa Ceylon’ can accommodat­e 25 guests in its luxuriousl­y appointed body treatment rooms, therapy rooms, mani-pedi lounges and rejuvenati­ng foot spas.

‘WHITE By Spa Ceylon’ offers guests an extensive spa menu with facials, body treatments and over 40 types of luxury Ayurveda treatments.

Spa Ceylon has taken its products and spa services to 26 branded outlets in 10 countries around the world and will open new spas in India, Malaysia and Singapore within the year.

A Service of Thanksgivi­ng to celebrate the life of Ranil Dias will be held on Monday, May 11 at 6.30 p.m. at the Methodist Church, Kollupitiy­a.

The Annual General Meeting of the Old Girls Associatio­n of Fathima Muslim Ladies College, Colombo 12 will be held on May 30 at 3 p.m. at the Zam Refai auditorium. All old girls are requested to attend.

“Cellscapes”, an exhibition of paintings by Shaanea Mendis D’ Silva will be held at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery from May 15 to 18.
