Free Seminar on Hospitality and Tourism Careers for O/Level and A/Level students
Hospitality has many sectors that are integrated together to form this exciting, fascinating industry. The hospitality industry is growing 3% to 4% annually in all regions of the world including Sri Lanka. Hospitality industry’s scope consists of the hotel industry, tourism industry, travel industry, event management, and leisure, gaming sector and many other fast growing areas.
In Sri Lanka the hospitality and tourism industry is facing a high growth period. The peaceful environment, infrastructural developments and natural resources have made Sri Lanka an attractive tourism destination among many global travelers. MICE ( Meeting, I n c e n t ive s, Confere n c i n g , and Exhibitions) have become the latest addition to Sri Lankan Hospitality and Tourism industry. Thousands of organizations and corporate sector, both government and private, are holding a number of events locally and worldwide. As its new emerging sector, job opportunities are available in large numbers in the Middle East and other emerging tourism destinations.
Therefore, in order to get into a man- agement position, one must have the qualifications, experience, career guidance, and counseling.
The ANC School of Hospitality and Tourism has decided to conduct seminars and workshops to provide vital information about careers in hospitality to young and passionate individuals of today. The seminar will be much interactive and fun filled with activities etc. You will also get a chance to mingle with many students from international and leading government schools. It is going to be an amazing experience and certificates will be awarded for the partici- pants.
