Introducing the LG Leon the mid range Smartphone with high end features

-

The LG Leon is part of the new spread of mid-range smartphones that LG has recently introduced. It is affordable and yet carries a load of features of its high-end counterparts. It features a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with a pixel density of 220ppi, along with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 8MP camera, VGA front camera and a 1900 mAh removable battery.

LG's aim with the LG Leon is to bring a premium feel to a mid-range affordable handset, which has been successfully achieved with a plastic back which looks attractive and feels pretty robust.

The LG Leon comes preinstalled with Android 5.0 which responds well to touch commands. LG has removed layers between the screen and the touch sensor to make the screen more responsive with menus gliding smoothly. It also makes the bezel around the phone smaller for an enhanced premium look.

The LG Leon is selfie stick friendly with voice and gesture commands that can be used to take photos. Just opening your hand and then closing it into a fist makes a fine and efficient gesture command and a three-second countdown enables you to get ready for the shot. The gesture control also works well for taking standard group shots.

Both the power button and the volume controls are also located on the back, just below the camera which makes it much more comfortable to reach with a finger when holding the phone, rather than the side or the top. The buttons are slightly recessed, which helps prevent accidently pressing them.

Placing these buttons on the back frees the sides and top edges of the device, giving it a nice smooth feel. The micro USB port for moving files on and off the LG Leon, as well as charging it, is on the centre of the bottom edge of the hand- set while the headphone jack is housed at the top end.

With the 4.5 inch screen the LG Leon's dimensions are 129.9 x 64.9 x 10.9mm leading to a small and compact handset. The body being relatively small and compact it is easy and comfortable to hold and convenient to reach the buttons at the back of the handset.

The LG Leon is definitely a budget-blower with many premium features you will find in high-end smartphones such as Gesture Control and Android 5.0. It's definitely the phone for those who are looking for a smartphone which looks like a premium model, has a load of high-end features and is well within their budget.

LG Leon smartphone is available at all Abans Showrooms and Key Partners Islandwide. It comes with a free Flip Cover, screen guard and a Smart Warranty that covers Drop Damage (if phone is damaged by user accidently), and Liquid Damage (if any liquid or such substance seeps into the phone accidently), so you can confidently use your phone without worrying about any accidental damage to it. The Smart Warranty comes absolutely free for one year with the purchase of any LG Smartphone from Abans or any Abans Key Partners Islandwide.
