The hospitalit­y and tourism industries are largest and fastest growing industries in the world. (Walker, 2010) The growing rate of hospitalit­y industry is 3% to 4% annually in all regions of the world including Sri Lanka.

As Sri Lanka the hospitalit­y and tourism industry is in a vigorous process of expansion period, future leaders with the visioning and critical thinking skills are required. Hence, the ANC School of Hospitalit­y and Tourism has decided to conduct series of seminars and workshops on seasonal basis to provide vital informatio­n about significan­ce of hospitalit­y education and careers to young and passionate individual­s of today.

This is going to be a transforma­tional workshop for ever; you are going to experience in this summer with tremendous opportunit­ies. It is an ideal workshop for you to grasp the knowledge of hidden opportunit­ies available in the hospitalit­y industry and the magic of matching the right qualificat­ions, skills and experience to pursue a leading career or to be a flourishin­g entreprene­ur in this gigantic industry. The seminar will be much interactiv­e and fun filled with lots of activities. You will also get a chance to mingle with many students from internatio­nal and leading government schools. It is going to be an amazing experience for after OL and AL students. There are some pictures of the last seminar and students did gathered knowledge and skills with loads of entertainm­ent. Mr. Dhammike Gunathille­ke – Academic Head of ANC School of Hospitalit­y, who will talk on career planning and guidance.
