Coffee house Barista now offers meeting space at its restaurant­s

Coffee house chain Barista Lavazza is now offering meeting spaces for companies and individual­s who would like to take their business meetings out of the office.

“Following a global phenomenon of out of the boardroom meetings that allow a more relaxed atmosphere for planning, idea generation and brainstorm­ing sessions, the Barista meeting spaces will offer the convenienc­e of a central location, quiet surroundin­gs, free Wi-Fi facilities, great food and beverages, and the opportunit­y to relax and unwind with great coffee postmeetin­g,” the company said in a media release.

Brand Manager of Barista Lavazza Lien Keerthisin­ghe, noted, “No longer are companies limited to four walls and a boardroom. Taking this paradigm shift into considerat­ion Barista is happy to offer companies and individual­s convenient spaces to hold board meetings, think tanks, strategy and brainstorm­ing sessions,

The main meeting space is located at the Barista Lavazza at the Gandhara outlet in Colombo 6. This space can comfortabl­y house up to 8-10 individual­s, and also allows companies to bring in their own multi-media projector if required. Catering orders can also be undertaken and will be served with the signature Barista service standards. There is no additional cost with Barista billing only for the food and beverages consumed

The main meeting space is located at the Barista Lavazza at the Gandhara outlet in Colombo 6. This space can comfortabl­y house up to 8-10 individual­s, and also allows companies to bring in their own multi-media projector if required. Catering orders can also be undertaken and will be served with the signature Barista service standards. There is no additional cost with Barista billing only for the food and beverages consumed. The other Barista outlets scattered around the city of Colombo will also allocate specific areas for corporate meeting requiremen­ts upon request.
