Lankem Ceylon PLC recently moved into its own building at No 46/56 Navam Mawatha in Colombo 02. The 30,000 sq ft new office complex will enable the company to integrate several of its operating profit centres in one location for the first time.

The move to re- locate the Company's operations to Colombo's commercial nerve centre will help to further strengthen its image as one of Sri Lanka's largest and fastest growing industrial conglomerates.

The Group's core Business Units: Crop Protection, Paints, Industrial, Bitumen, Consumer and its support Service Units: IT, Human Recourse, Commercial, Finance, Compliance with a total staff strength of about 300 employees, are now housed in the new office complex. The operations of two other subsidiaries will also be located here.
