Kids Creative Communication Camp “Make the world a better place”

-

The eagerly awaited holiday camp for children, presented by The Rainbow Institute of Communication and English, is scheduled for 26-28, August this year. This year’s camp, focuses on creative communication and is woven around the theme “Make the world a better place”

The camp is ideal for children who are between 7-13 years of age and are fluent in English.

The camp features a range of fun – filled and exciting activities dealing with analytical thinking, creative writing, public speaking, musical theatre, art and craft.

The key objectives are to inculcate sound values, build confidence, bring out creativity, develop communication and team – working skills of children. Thereby they are encouraged to be socially responsible and to maximize their own potential to make the world a better place.

The holiday camp is conducted by eminent university academic, DrMahim Mendis and dynamic young trainers with international credentials.

“In the current context where school curricula are heavily geared towards exams and children are caught up in a competitive race, developing soft skills and inculcation of sound values are not given due importance in most schools. We cater to this critical need at the Rainbow Institute, with funfilled programmes tailored to motivate each individual child who comes to us, to bring out his or her unique talents and shine as a young leader with sound values”, said Manique Mendis, Executive Director of the Rainbow Institute.

The Kids Creative Camp will take place from Wednesday, 26 to Friday, 28 August, providing children with an enjoyable learning experience over a duration 12 hours ( 9.00 am – 1.00 pm each day) . The venue is the Rainbow Institute of Communication and English, at 44/ 1, Haig Road, Bambalapitiya. The Investment is Rs 10,000/- including training, course material, refreshments and certificates of participation.
