Obtain a Masters Qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain from Sheffield Hallam University, UK
Admissions are currently open for MSc in Logistics and S u p p l y Chain Management from the prestigious Sheffield Hallam University ( SHU) UK conducted at SLIIT. Students interested in obtaining a distinguished British qualification can apply before the 24th of August. Classes will commence on the 26th of September.
Students can complete the MSc in just one year on the fast track or in two years on the slow track. During the period of study, students have two intermediate exit points; a postgraduate certificate after 60 credits or a postgraduate diploma after 120 credits. Upon completion of 180 credits the student will be conferred with the Masters Degree.
Potential candidates are expected to have an honours degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Management or IT. Candidates with suitable professional qualifications in a field appropriate to Engineering, Management or Supply Chain Management, or a degree in any discipline plus at least one year of industrial experience in a responsible position at a related organization also have the opportunity to pursue this programme.
A diploma in a technological area, with at least three years of experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain related field will also be considered.
This unique course is recommended for supply chain personnel ( practitioners in procurement, warehousing, demand and supply planning, distribution and transport, freight forwarding, aviation and maritime) aiming to become technical specialists in sectors such as FMCG, manufacturing and health-care, 3PL, import and export and for recently employed graduates beginning a career in logistics and supply chain management. It is built on the four pillars of Strategies, Management, Technology and Systems to cover the necessary skills for logistics and supply chain practitioners. Special emphasis is given for Lean & Six Sigma, Manufacturing Strategy, Supply chain modeling simulation, Wa r e h o u s i n g , Transportation, SAP and Enterprise resource planning. This programme is the first to use a Supply Chain Guru Simulation & Optimization framework. In addition students have the option of applying for SAP certification at a discounted price.
