Lanka Hospitals achieves record gains since January 2015
Lanka Hospitals has reported an outstanding performance in the first half of their current financial year, with an 81 per cent increase in group profits before tax. The Group Profit before Tax (PBT) stood at Rs.428 million for the first six months of the financial year 2015, compared to Rs.236 million recorded in the corresponding period of the financial year 2014.
"The revenue for the first half of the financial year 2015, increased by 20 percent to Rs.2.65 billion compared to Rs.2.2 billion recorded during the corresponding period of the fiscal year 2014," said Chairman, Lanka Hospitals, Dr. Sarath Paranavitane.
The excellence in financial performance reflects the great strides Lanka Hospitals has made in their medical care and training services under the new management which changed hands in January this year.

Their achievements, accolades and awards are impressive; Lanka Hospitals surpassed the 750th successful kidney transplant, handled more than 800 IVF births and the highest number of adult and paediatric cardiac surgeries in the private sector.
The hospital will soon open their special unit for bone marrow transplants aided by Sri Lanka's only dedicated hemato-oncology (blood cancer) facility, and another specialized center for gastroenterology. The proposed Gastroenterology (GE) Center will be equipped with cutting edge technology and Sri Lanka's only PH Manometry and EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) machines with a renowned bevy of Consultant doctors.
