MBBS vs. MD
The title of the degree, “Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery” or MBBS as it is commonly known, suggests that they are two separate degrees; however, in practice, they are usually treated as one and awarded together. Professionals holding MBBS degrees are referred to by the courtesy title of “Doctor” and use the prefix “Dr.” in Australia Doctor of Medicine degree, or MD qualification is currently offered by Griffith University, the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, and the University of Queensland—is an graduate-entry, master’s-level program. Upon the completion of a graduate- entry medical degree, students complete a residency in their field of choice/ specialization and then become licensed doctors.

About GAMSAT
The Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (more commonly known as the GAMSAT) is a test used to select candidates applying to study medicine, dentistry, podiatry, pharmacy and veterinary science at Australian, universities for admission to their Graduate Entry Programmes ( candidates must have a recognized Bachelor degree, or equivalent, completed prior to commencement of the degree).
