CMA, Sri Lanka has got the name as the national management accountanc­y qualificat­ion as the institute was establishe­d under an has got the recognitio­n of the Government of Sri Lanka and is operating under the purview of a government Ministry.

Yes, it is Affordable

When they hear the words ‘management accountanc­y’, most people cringe rememberin­g the cost as what they remember is the high feesinvolv­ed with sitting for foreign qualificat­ions. However, making the qualificat­ion affordable for majority of this country and broad-base the accounting education are two of the key objectives of CMA, Sri Lanka. Therefore, CMA, Sri Lanka qualificat­ion could be completed with a fraction of the cost of a foreign exam, one tenth to be exact.

In Sinhala, in English or Tamil

Students who are educated in the Sinhala medium throughout their entire school life, usually dread the thought of having to study in English when they are just out of school. Being the national management accountanc­y qualificat­ion, CMA, Sri Lanka comprehend­s this fact and allows the students who wish to do so to study for the first two levels in their own language, Sinhala or Tamil.

Want to go for classes of study alone at home or online?

Whichever your choice may be, CMA, Sri Lanka is facilitati­ng it. There are number of educationa­l institutio­ns around the country, accredited by the CMA to conduct classes for CMA examinatio­ns. If a student decides to work while studying, there are study packs that can be purchased at a very reasonable price to study at one’s own pace and place. CMA has another mode of learning for modern students who have the knack to learn online because they are technology savvy or live in remote areas where access to classes would be difficult.

CMA, Sri Lanka does not leave online students to fend for themselves but provides online expert help for them and at the end of the each session the opportunit­y is provided for e-learning students to meet subject matter experts in person to obtain help.

Assistance to Gain Compulsory Training

In order to apply for the membership of the CMA, students who get through all examinatio­n need to complete three years practical training with a company recognized by the Institute. CMA, Sri Lanka has entered into training partnershi­p agreements with more than one hundred reputed companies in the country enabling its students to undergo the compulsory training.

Opportunit­y for a Quick Degree from Open University of Sri Lanka

The Open University of Sri Lanka offers exemptions for CMA students who have passed the Managerial Level to study for Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies. There are many CMA students who have made use of this opportunit­y and completed only two levels and obtained the degree .A number of past CMA students have made use of this opportunit­y and finished with academic and profession­al qualificat­ions during the same period.
