Attention All Students: EDEX Mid-Year Expo & Job Fair 2016 is coming soon!

-

EDEX Mid-Year Expo & Job Fair is scheduled to commence on the 3rd of September at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC) - and will go on til the 4th. Aimed at both school leavers and job seekers alike, the organisers have, as usual, arranged for a vast array of options, choices and opportunities for the talented minds that frequent the occasion.

Something that makes the MidYear Expo stand out is the integration of the EDEX Job Fair into this as well, and the end result isas mentioned above- something that can yield equally positive results to both school leavers exploring their higher education options and job seekers on the market looking for their next successful career move.

Parents and students get the chance to meet representatives from higher education institutions in person to clarify their questions, doubts and everything in between, and this is a rare luxury in the present day and time where all communications utilise emails and phones and are robotic and monotonous at best. And it doesn’t stop there either, as EDEX Mid-Year Expo also facilitates spot admission to selected academic, vocational, technical and professional courses and postgraduate programs offered by both local and foreign institutions- including discounted course fees, full and partial schol- arships, and various offers which will in turn enable and empower the students to accelerate their dreams and goals in an affordable and timely manner.

EDEX Mid-Year Expo also features a plethora of value added features, ranging from career guidance and counselling to seminars where you can get all your burning questions answered on the spot. Should you not be sure of which career path to take, the exhibition has that covered too- as the on-site psychometric test will help you gauge which path to best explore based on your personality and other traits.

The expo is the ideal location for marketing education related services, as it attracts a vast percentage of the potential clients actively seeking for the services provided by said institutions, and can be identified as a platform bridging together the target market and the service providers- all under one roof.

One stop shop for all your needs, regardless whether you’re a student, a job seeker, an employer or an educational institute looking to offer services, EDEX is the place to be. Got a question? You can get in touch with the EDEX secretariat at EDEX Secretariat, RCU Skills Centre, Royal College Union, RajakeeyaMawatha, Colombo 7 or you could also call 011 552 1497, email sales@edex.lk or visit www. edex.lk for more information.
