Saegis Campus holds open day in collboration with the Heriot Watt University UK
Saegis Campus is the only affiliated institute in Sri Lanka with the prestigious Heriot-Watt University that has a current overall ranking of 20 for world-class teaching and practical leading-edge research. Heriot-Watt is also ranked 3rd in UK for Accounting & Finance and Business Management. It producessome of UK’s top notch graduates and has made a name for itself as one of the top UK universities for business and industry.Saegis and Heriott-Wattrecently held an open day for prospective students and their parents to explore the campusand learn more about the range of degrees available and check on the job prospects and opportunities.
Choosing the right degree programme by prospective students being an essential part of this Open Day, Professor Kevin O’Gormonthe Dean of the Faculty of the Heriot Watt University was at hand to guide the students in making the right decision to suite their career interests and their talents and abilities. He outlined to the participants on financing and payment schemes, admissions, student life, career prospects and study abroad opportunities as well as subject talks that gave an insight into the modules that could be taken, the campus facilities and internship placement options.
