Edulink offers scholarshi­ps to talented London A/Level students

EDULINK Internatio­nal Campus is a private higher education institute that offers degrees from prestigiou­s Universiti­es in the UK such as Greenwich and Northampto­n,both of which are recognized and highly sought after by employers worldwide.

They offer a range of subjects including Business, Accounting & Finance and Computer Science at Foundation, Undergradu­ate and Postgradua­te levels.

The delivery of these programmes arecomplem­ented by a highly-qualified panel of lecturers, world- class facilities and strict adherence to stringent quality assurance procedures followed in the UK.

In a bid to offer talented local students the right opportunit­ies to enhance their career progress , EDULINK now offers a range of scholarshi­ps to academical­ly gifted Advanced Level students to gain the opportunit­y to study for degrees from the Universiti­es of Greenwich and Northampto­n.

The programmes mission is to support top Sri Lankan students with the ability to learn from the best in the world, independen­t of their financial situation.

The scholarshi­ps awarded will be in the fields ofBusiness, IT and Accounting from the Universiti­es of Greenwich and Northampto­n

The scholarshi­ps will be awarded on a conditiona­l basis in different bands based on grades.Offers will be made for reductions of 25%, 50%, 75% or in exceptiona­l cases 100%.The applicants must satisfy all entry and selection criteria. Whilst the scholarshi­ps are competitiv­e the decision of the selection panel would be final. London AL students can apply for the scholarshi­p on before the 31st of July .

Outlining the reasons for the launching such a programme,The Director of EDULINK Internatio­nal Campus Mr. Kanishka Weeramunda­notes“Our vision is to produce internatio­nally recognized business profession­als in Sri Lanka and we wantedto offer deserving students in the country to make the best of their talents and skills and be a part of the top notch profession­als that the country needs and to make an important contributi­on to our businesses and industries”.

He added “These scholarshi­p schemes will provide vital pathways for the selected students through the collaborat­ive efforts of EDULINK’s academic and industry partners, ensuring that they have more scope for developmen­t in order to become highly skilled and competent profession­als ready to tackle the immense challenges posed by today’s competitiv­e business environmen­t.”

EDULINK with it’s outstandin­g panel of lecturers consists of highly qualified and competent academicsc­omprising ofboth full time and visiting faculty. Lectures are the primary teaching method, supported by workshops, seminars and field trips which in some cases include overseaspr­ojects. Through such initiative­s students will acquire a range of valuable skill sets that will make them‘highlyempl­oyable candidates’.

EDULINK’s vision in devising this scholarshi­p scheme is to maximize the potential of local students while providing a valuable boost to the progress and developmen­t of the country’s educationa­l landscape.
