Wattala thrash Nugegoda by 170 runs in an all-Lyceum Cricket final
Unbeaten tons by Shermeegan Saridan and Gihan de Zoysa laid the foundation for Lyceum Int. School Wattala to emerge champion of the International School U19 cricket tournament.
The duo’s knocks enabled the side to record a comprehensive 170 run win over Lyceum Int. School Nugegoda in the final played at the Health ground. Shermeegan cracked a 112 with ten boundaries while Gihan slammed a quick fire 97-ball 102 which included 12 boundaries and a six.
The pair was associated in an unbroken 198 run stand
