NCHS Shifts Paradigms in Education with ISO 9001:2015

NCHS, a leader in the education industry in Sri Lanka has shifted the paradigms of quality in education as they obtained the ISO 9001:2015 for Quality management. “Quality is key at Nawaloka and this is a step we have taken to ensure that the high benchmarks we adhere to are met” said Dr. Alan Robertson, Dean, Nawaloka College of Higher Studies.

The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO’s best known standards. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizati­ons who want to ensure that their products and services consistent­ly meet customer’s requiremen­ts, and that quality is consistent­ly improved.

Continuous Improvemen­t towards Excellence

It was stated that NCHS is on a constant pursuit towards excellence and therefore understand the need for continuous developmen­t.

This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implicatio­n of top management, the process approach and continual improvemen­t. It was stated that the partner universiti­es were selected due to their commitment to quality education.
