SLIM marketing Roks - 2015 attracts the highest number of schools
The awards ceremony of the annual educational CSR programme of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, SLIM Marketing Roks 2015 was held recently at the Auditorium of Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management, with Ladies’ College, Colombo being crowned the winner of the competition.
Regent International College, Gampaha and Lyceum International School – Wattala emerged 2nd Runner Up and 1st Runner Up respectively, while Girls High School – Kandy was adjudged the ‘Best Regional School – Central Province
And Siridhamma College, Galle was named the ‘Best Regional School – Southern Province’. The competition had the participation of many schools from the Western, Southern and Central provinces.

Many eminent personalities from the fields of marketing and education took part in the awards ceremony.Mr. Upul Adikari, President – SLIM and Mr. G S Sylvester addressed the gathering.
Marketing Roks has been acclaimed as a ‘Sri Lankan first’ - a national level community-driven programme carried out by a professional educational institute and has grown in popularity each year.

We are very encouraged by the large participation of schools and students which also are an indication of the value that we are adding to these youngsters added Mr Pradeep Edward, Vice President SLIM.
Since 2009 it has succeeded in educating a large number of students from various schools on the art of developing and managing a business entity.
