A mystery house and mysterious tale

“Nodath Desheka Arumawanth­i”, a teledrama about mysterious house and a woman exists there is now being telecast at 7.30pm on weekdays on Sirasa TV.

Devendra is a rich businessma­n who keeps to himself and lives a quiet, lonely life. Darshana who is a graduate, comes from India to meet Devendra. Dharshana’s parents work and stay at Devendra’s house as servants. Devendra encourages Dharshana to apply for a job at a retired lawyer’s house as a translator. Darshana accepts the job even though he is overqualif­ied for the position and then he moves in with the lawyer to Philip Rajasinghe’s house.

On the very first night at Rajasinghe’s house Dharshana hears a singing voice and a laugh of a female. Going after the voice he sees an apparition of a lady which disappears suddenly after he sees her.

Dharshana’s curiosity about the unknown female compels him to follow her whenever he sees or hears her and doing so once he meets Aseka, Rajasinghe’s granddaugh­ter who’s met with an acci- dent. Aseka and Dharshana fall in love yet they face many difficulti­es threatenin­g their union. As they try to stay together Dharshana continues to solve the mystery around the woman he sees, taking the audience on a new tele journey. “Nodath Desheka Arumawanth­i” produced under the label of Susila Production­s and directed by Ranjan Prasanna. It features a number of stars including Umayangana Wickramasi­nghe, Gihan Fernando, Chamila Peiris, Kanchana Kodithuwak­ku, Niroshan Wijesinghe, Giriraj Kaushallya, Isuri Navodya and Viraj Perera.
