Sinhagiri recently welcomed Hewlett Packard (HP), a world leading brand to their portfolio strengthening the operation further.Singhagiri is one of the leading retailer in the consumer electronics market with over 39 years of trust among many generations in Sri Lanka, was the pioneer in introducing Samsung branded products to the Sri Lankan market in 1983 and currently operates with many brands under their prestigious name.

HP is a fortune 100 company with over $52 billion revenue and positioned as 7 th in fortune most admired for technology category. One-year ago in 2015, HP has gone through the largest separation in corporate history and created HP inc & Hewlett Packard Enterprise, former being focused in providing hardware, such as personal computers and printers and latter being focused on servers, storage, networking, consulting and support; Services; Software; and Financial Services. Since then HP inc has achieved a lot under the new themes focusing all their energy, “keep reinventing”

With the partnership of the IT giant in the market, Singhagiri expects a 30% growth in their IT sales during the next financial year. They have plans on formulating HP experience corners in their showrooms in order to provide an excellent retail experience to HP customers. Additionally, each area will be focused on HP sales through separate sales promotors who will be dedicated in growing HP sales in the channel. Moreover, as per the management of Singhagiri, there will be another 30 or more showrooms addition during the next calendar year, which would increase their reach to the Sri Lankan consumer further.
