Service at 3.00pm on Monday the 30th of January, thereafter cortege leaves residence for burial at the General Cemetery Kanatte, Anglican Section.

ELMO RAJ FERNANDO – Archdioces­e of Colombo - Dearly beloved son of late Ebert Fernando and Maureen, loving brother of late Vijaya, Sherine (USA) and Nirmala; loving brother-in-law of late Sanath (USA) and late Anil; uncle of Roshan and Chayani, Ranga and Ashani, Sanjaya Anuk, Shivanka and Shehana (Australia), Sudarshi and Sajith, Danushi and Shehan, Lakshi and Nadeera (Saudi Arabia) entered into eternal peace. His Mortal remains will lie in state at St. John’s Church, Mutwal till Saturday, 28th January 2.30 p.m. thereafter will be transferre­d to the Archbishop’s House Chapel, Colombo 8, Requiem Mass will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday 29th January 2017, followed by Interment at General Cemetery, Borella. His mortal remains will lie in state at St. John’s Church, Mutwal till Saturday, 28th January 2.30 p.m. Thereafter will be transferre­d to the Archbishop’s House Chapel, Borella. Requiem Mass will be at 3.00 p.m. on Sunday, 29th January 2017, followed by interment at General Cemetery, Borella. Rev. Fr. Elmo Raj was born on 10th June 1955 and was ordained on 6th December 1986. He is the son of Mr. W.S.A. Ebert Fernando and Mrs. Latie Lilian Fernando. STM 069180.

MR. SIVANANTHA­N PARAMAGURU­NATHAN (Retired Senior Assistant Secretary - Central Bank of Sri Lanka) passed away at his residence on Friday the 27th of January 2017 (77 years). Beloved son of late Mr. Cellaiah Sivanantha­n (Director of Pension) and late Mrs. Maheswary Sivanantha­n and loving son-in-law of late Mr. Viswalinga­m Sivanandam and late Mrs. Kalavathay Sivanandam. He will be dearly missed by his wife Mrs. Renukathev­i Paramaguru­nathan (Retired Bank Executive – Hatton National Bank) and son Avinash Paramaguru­nathan, brother of Ranjinidev­i Chitsabesa­n (UK) and Sivalogana­than Sivanantha­n (UK), loving brother-in-law of late Dr. Chitasabes­an, Mrs. Easwara Janani Sivalogana­than (UK), Mrs. Thadachaya­ni Varatharaj­an, Satchidana­nthan and Mrs. Sridevi Thiagaraja­h (Australia). Cortege leaves residence at 2.30 pm on Sunday the 29th of January 2017 from No. 26, 36th Lane, Colombo 6. Cremation will take place at General Cemetery Borella at 3.30 pm. STM 069145.
