The Postgradua­te Diploma program, is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education by gazette notice No 2002/72 dated 20 January 2017. It is conducted in collaborat­ion of the Institute of Food Science and Technology Sri Lanka, and its twin body Sri Lanka Food Processors Associatio­n is committed to develop the future technical leaders of the industry through a curriculum addressing modern global concepts, away from the traditiona­l subject focused training. Food sampling and analysis Food plant sanitation and hygiene Food quality management systems Local and internatio­nal food laws, regulation­s and guidelines Food inspection for quality and safety

Applicatio­n for the two-semester Postgradua­te Diploma, to be conducted during the weekends, for the convenienc­e of those employed in the food industry and other related organizati­ons will be received now. The applicatio­ns will be entertaine­d by the Horizon Campus till 10th February20­17 and the program begins in early March 2017.
