In a continuous drive to contribute to public betterment, Fashion Bug, one of Sri Lanka’s leading retail clothing chains with over 16 outlets islandwide, together with the Sri Lanka Railway Department very recently refurbished signage and direction boards at the busiest train terminal, Fort Railway Station.
Fashion Bug has been involved in this annual initiative since 2013 and hopes to continue and commence many more similar projects in future. The company spends millions on this initiative and completes the refurbishment within a two month timeframe, with the cooperation extended positions in private sector and government sector. The degree certificate is awarded by the renowned Lincoln University College based in Kuala Lumpur which is one of the leading universities in Malaysia. The classes for BBA Degree are conducted by well experienced professors and senior lecturers with postgraduate qualifications representing several national universities and leading private sector agencies in Sri Lanka. This degree is recognized by University Grants Commission.
The students who join BBA Degree Programme can obtain funding under a loan facility offered by a leading commercial bank in Sri Lanka. The students are trained not only on subject knowledge but also in their soft-skills such as confidence, leadership and business etiquettes. In the final year of the Hons. programme they are engaged in internships in private sector and public sector establishments. Master of Business Administration Degree Programme (MBA)
The VLT Camus offers the Master of Business Administration ( MBA) programme to prepare the students for senior management and executive- level positions. It helps them to acquire managerial competencies including critical thinking skills, systems thinking skills, team building skills, decision- making skills and ethical leadership skills, required for managing the affairs of a business enterprise.
This is a dual degree qualification where participants can obtain two MBA certificates from two foreign universities. One university is Lincoln University College (LUC) of Malaysia. Other university is UBIS from Switzerland. Lincoln certificate is recognized by Sri Lanka University Grants Commission while UBIS certificate is recognized by EU countries.
Participants will travel to Malaysia or New Zealand on a study tour.
Doctor of Philosophy in Management (PhD Management)
The primary objective of the Ph.D. in Management programme offered by VLT Campus is to prepare participants for careers in university-level teaching and research and for responsible positions in business and government. It provides the participants with a sound conceptual understanding of a set of research tools. This will enhance their understanding of the ethical issues involved in research and teaching and promote the attainment of the highest standards in the professional environment.
