Ghany re-elected SLCUA President

Well known cricket administra­tor Ashroff Ghany was re-elected President of the Sri Lanka Cricket Umpires' Associatio­n (SLCUA) at its Annual General Meeting held at the Global Towers in Colombo on March 22.

D.N. Pathirana, a former internatio­nal umpire, was elected the Senior Vice President and E.K.S. Wijewardha­na and Austin Fernando were elected as the two Vice Presidents.

J.W.K. Boteju, another former internatio­nal umpire, and a match referee for Sri Lanka Cricket, was elected the Assignment Secretary. Indika Colombaara­chchi was elected the Treasurer. V.K.A.
