3,668 Sports teachers to promote Sports among schoolchildren

The Government will recruit Sports teachers to promote Sports among schoolchildren, and also set up a school for Sports.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education ( MoE) will recruit 3,668 Physical Training (PT) teachers within the next few months, said Sports Director Manjula Kariyawasam.

The teachers, in separate uniform, will work on two separate shifts- from 8 am to 2 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm.
