The MoE also plans to set up a school in Biyagama where children talented in Sports abilities will be given priority on admission. A 15-acre plot has been selected for the project.

In order to promote their Sports talent, the Ministry also hopes to ensure that students who excel in various Sports, do not drop out from Sports for want of facilities in their respective schools. "We will make arrangements to get admission in other schools," he added.
